How to Play Craps Online

How to Play Craps

There’s no getting around it: craps is the most complex game found at any online casino. However, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible, and with a little practice, you’ll be playing like a professional in no time. Start here by reading through our brief guide on how to play craps online.

The Goal

It’s tough to clarify the goal of craps, but in general it’s this: you need to roll a number with two dice, and then roll the same number again, before you roll a 7. If you do, you win a prize worth 1 to 1. However, there are loads of other bets you can also make, which adds extra elements to the game.

How to Play Craps

As already mentioned, craps is a pretty complex casino game, but we’ve outlined the basic gameplay below.

  • Players first bet on the pass line or don’t pass line.
  • The shooter then makes the comeout roll. If the total is 7 or 11, pass bettors win straight away. If it’s 2, 3, or 12, they lose straight away. For don’t pass bettors, it’s the opposite. Any other total rolled becomes the point.
  • Players can now make a range of different bets on the board.
  • The shooter rolls again. If the total is the same as the point, the player wins. If it’s 7, the player loses. Any other total becomes the point, and the shooter keeps rolling.
  • Once the game ends, any money you’ve won is automatically added to your casino bankroll.

If you’re still confused about how to play craps, we’d recommend heading to a casino and playing the game for free, until you understand the gameplay and are confident enough to play for real money.
